On December 3rd, Capital Title will be holding a fundraiser for the Detroit Dog Rescue, as part of the Giving Tuesday festivities. Real Estate One Charitable Foundation will be matching funds raised at 100%, so please consider supporting this charity.  Checks can be made out to REOCF and interofficed to Lindsay Fern at Capital Title in Southfield. All donations must be in by December 3rd for the 100% match.  For any questions, you can email Lindsay at LFern@capitaltitle.net.

A Special Shout Our to Our Leaders!
This summer, Tom Lico was inducted as the President of the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA), and his 6th year on their Board of Directors. He has been instrumental in talking with state legislature, helping to educate them on the title insurance industry. Tom was also involved in the process of the passing of the Remote Online Notary bill late last year. Tom’s contribution to the MLTA is joined by two other Capital Title employees.

LaRee Mara is serving her 2nd term as the Education Committee Chair for the association, and Lisa Rozmarniewicz her 3rd term as the Communications/Public Relations Committee Chair.

Thank you for your extra industry efforts, Tom, LaRee and Lisa!

Congratulations to Ann Allen in her new role as Assistant Manager at the Capital Title branch in Birmingham. Formerly a Processor and most recently a Closing Officer in the Rochester Capital Title branch, Ann will be a great asset to Birmingham team!

Another shift to announce is the new role that Betsy Whitney has accepted.  Betsy, formerly Regional Manager for the Southfield and Rochester Capital Title branches, will begin her new position as Title Production Manager in November.  Congratulations, Betsy!
