Thank You to Our Fans in the Stands

In both rain and shine, we joined 1,000 volunteers to welcome athletes to Detroit for the annual Unified Cup.

With noisemakers and pom-poms, our Charitable Foundation’s “Fans in the Stands” cheered on 300 athletes from around the world with 10,000 other spectators! We all joined together with the common mission of celebrating the joy of soccer and the power of inclusion through camaraderie, competition and breaking down social barriers.

“Thank you so much for all of your support and assistance with the Unified Cup,” said Tim Hileman, Special Olympics Michigan President and CEO. “We are so thankful for all of the support from the REO Charitable Foundation and REO Family of Companies.  “Last week was a life changing experience for so many.”

We are sad to see the week-long event come to an end, but so glad and full of gratitude for the amazing generosity and dedication of our volunteers and our Fans in the Stands! Thank you!
