Joe Bigelman Guest Lectures at Michigan State University’s “Life After College” Class

Joe Bigelman, Branch Manager and Mortgage Loan Consultant at John Adams Mortgage, has been guest lecturing at Michigan State University for about 15-16 years now. Once per semester, Joe teaches a class in the College of Agriculture to get students ready for the “real” world. The class itself is designed around life after college.

Joe’s portion of the class is about building credit, mortgage options and buying your first home. Other parts of the class are on resume building, financial advising and more. Usually about 150-175 students attend the class.

Joe shared, “My goal is that every student by the time I am done talking and answering questions will know everything there is to know about how credit is scored and what they need to do to have perfect credit.” Joe continued, “My favorite part of the class are the questions. I usually get 30-45 questions around credit and you can see all the wheels turning.”
