Get Ready for Giving Tuesday + Upcoming Events!

The most giving time of the year is upon us! But first, let’s review the results from the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Detroit Zoo.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped lead the registration for the event. Our combined teams raised $7,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. That’s such an amazing contribution!

Fall Games - Poly (Floor) Hockey & Flag Football VIP Experience

Our State Fall Games are a multi-month series of state finals for our team sports, and the final weekend of play is coming up in November. We are asking our corporate partners to join us for an informal VIP experience, which will include a networking reception, Special Olympics Athlete meet-and-greet, a brief welcome ceremony for the Athletes, and opportunity to watch a match and cheer for our Athletes.

Hundreds of Special Olympics Michigan Athletes (kids + adults with intellectual disabilities) gather for a day of championship play for two of our most action-packed team sports: Poly Hockey (similar to floor hockey) and Flag Football.
