Congratulations to Darrell Hawley on his retirement!
Darrell Hawley is taking the leap into retirement. Darrell wrote this note to share with our family.
When at the age of 20 years old, I set a goal for life to work in the financial field. During these 64 years of working, I feel that I have achieved the goal that was set for my life. I started working for Detroit Title Insurance Company with Julie Wery in the closing department in March, 1995. It then became Real Estate One Inc. During the period of 1995 through August 1999 I closed many Real Estate deals at several offices in the Tri-County area. During that time, I taught several Con-Ed classes at various offices.
In August 1999, I moved to Big Rapids and upon request I became the Collection Manager for the company doing collections for all of our various companies. During this time several hundreds of cases have been taken to Small Claims Court and then filed State Income Tax
Garnishments against a persons tax refund.
I would be unable to THANK everyone by name who I have enjoyed working with during these 26 years working for this company because I would be missing somebody’s name. I will say starting with Stuart and Dan, then on down every one has been GREAT to work with me over these years. I am retiring on August 31, 2021. I love you all. Wish you all a FAREWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
